About Mediadesign
We are a talented, small and perfectly formed full-service creative design agency, servicing clients worldwide, mainly in the Insurance and Financial services sectors. Starting life in January 2000, 23 years and 1000 laughs later we are still talking and loving what we do. We help clients all over the world achieve their creative objectives.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about the impact that good design has for our clients. Every project is different, but they all start with a conversation.

About the role
To start with you’ll work alongside our other senior designers to learn our business and our clients inside out before taking full responsibility and being a creative lead in a wide range of design projects. Client communication is key, as you’ll have a seat at the table in many of our client meetings to build relationships and solve creative challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and taking ownership of projects from start (writing proposals) to pitching ideas to finish (delivery across a wide range of media).
  • Working closely with clients, from in-person meetings to video calls, phone calls and email. Client communication and representing our business is paramount.
  • Listening to clients and solving creative problems by thinking outside the box.
  • Applying a full spectrum of design skills.
  • Working on both large-scale projects and quick turn-around tasks.
  • Working alongside other designers and provide critical feedback.
  • Assist and mentor junior designers, where appropriate.
  • Help to scope projects and propose the best solutions based on available budget and resource.

About you

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Xd and Premier Pro.
  • Website development skills in either WordPress or no-code tools like Webflow.
  • Highly proficient in motion graphic and video editing.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Tech savvy.
  • A real passion for design and the latest trends.
  • Work with project management software to organise tasks.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and workload.
  • A Proven ability to work both as part of a bigger team and individually.
  • Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working to brand guidelines.
  • Second to none Work ethic and positive can do attitude.
  • Obsessed with quality and attention to detail.
  • Holds a degree in graphic design or equivalent.
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years working in the creative industry and you'll have the ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
  • Understanding and experience in the Insurance and Financial services sector advantageous.
